I wonder how Miko is doing during quarantine?
Trying to refine the designs of my comic characters, and especially their relative heights. These are arguably the most central characters, at least for the current arc I have planned.
It begins!
I really hope to be doing this comic for years, and this is just the humble start of something life-defining for me.
For you though, I hope you’ll just enjoy the comic. Page 2 will be on Patreon early access soon, in which Erika will meet up with her best friend Rose.
Updating my girl’s design again. Trying to focus on simplifying things like her skin patterns, since I intend to repeatedly draw her a ton when I get my comic going.
I never know how much detail to put on these things, but this time I erred on the side of “less is more”.
I genuinely could think of a bunch of different outfits and permutation of those outfits for her to wear, based on context, as well as a description of her personality, likes/dislikes, etc.
But maybe I should just let those things speak for themselves.
In anycase, I consider this more of a “guide” than a rulebook to her design.

Finally finished this.
Had to spend a lot of time to do my girl justice <3 And yes, I replaced her skorts/bloomers/whatever-the-heck-they-were with a skirt and thigh-highs BECAUSE REASONS.
